The origins of Mizan did not begin with a business plan. It began with a quiet pull, the sense that there were stories we were not hearing and worlds we had not explored.

The idea that became The Vizier started years ago. Not as a studio, and not even as a formal project. It started as a question that would not leave me alone.

Where do stories come from?
Who decides what gets remembered, and what gets left behind?

In a world saturated with noise, this vision began as a whisper.

What if a game could hold tension, complexity, and culture at the same time?

What if it could carry both shadow and light, not to force a conclusion, but to let players sit in the space between?

That seed took root, and from it, Mizan was born.

A Studio Rooted in Meaning

Mizan is the Arabic word for balance, the scale between seen and unseen forces.

For us, it is more than a name. It is a compass.

Our work is shaped by the belief that games can matter, that they can challenge assumptions, preserve memory, and open new ways of seeing.
